Anti-aging Healthcare

How dependent should we be on our personal physician to help us keep healthy? This is a very important question. It is also very important to ask how we can tell if the doctor we are seeing now is really the right physician to help us prevent aging problems that might come up in the future. The answer begins with a look in the mirror. No one knows our bodies as well we do. All of the tests that doctors ask for are simply to find out what we often already know. Self-responsibility is the best place to start. You are going to be the best caretaker of your body. However this does require us to put effort into learning what is best for us.

Anti-Aging Information and Research

There are a lot of sources for information available today. Most of us possess the basic knowledge we need to stay healthy. More information is available at the Maximum Life Foundation. There we compile information from many experts from around the world so people can educate themselves. We are here to help people take care of themselves and empower them so they can take control of their own health.

Anti-aging in Mainstream Medicine

Most of your physicians, unfortunately, are woefully inept at keeping us healthy. They're mechanics. They fix us when something goes wrong. They're taught to load us up with drugs. They look at a symptom and they treat that symptom, they typically do not look at the underlying core issue or the underlying cause. They're symptom fighters for the most part. Not all of them, but some of them are. Most physicians are not at all schooled in diet and exercise and some of the preventative measures that keep us healthy.

If you want to have a good physician & and everybody should, don't get me wrong, things go wrong with us we need good physicians & you want to be very careful who you select. And I would definitely say find somebody who is schooled and who specializes in anti-aging medicine. And if they're not you're probably in the wrong hands.

Anti-aging and Disease

The key to successfully reversing your age, extending your life, or anti-aging, so to speak, is to focus beyond living longer to living well. After all, living longer is only as good as the quality of life you're living. One of the many issues we suffer with in later years is the risk of terrible diseases, such as Dementia or Alzheimer's. The key to successful aging is not only to live longer but to live a life that is free from these and other such diseases. Biochemists and anti-aging experts are coming across new breakthroughs in medicine and technology that help us come closer every day to increasing not just our years, but our disease-free years.

Anti-Aging and Knowing the Risks

The aforementioned diseases and other devastating maladies plague us more the later we live. In fact, the risk of such diseases, which are quite terrible in their latter stages, increases to almost 50% by age 85. This risk goes up proportionately with our biological age. Our goal is to live an extremely long life but also to live our lives with these diseases treated, cured, or nonexistent. As technology advances, so does the ability for scientists to discover ways to flat-out prevent diseases that our society has only recently been plagued with, such as Alzheimer's.

Anti-aging and Alzheimer's

One of the best things that can be done while we are young to protect ourselves from Alzheimer's is the basic things that we are told over and over again. Diet, exercise and supplementation alongside healthy lifestyle habits have been shown to reduce the chances of Alzheimer's. By not smoking as well as maintaining a healthy body weight you are at less of a risk of this disease. It's not just obesity that contributes to Alzheimer; experts find that merely being overweight is a determining factor. The relationship between diet and Alzheimer's is so close that Alzheimer's is ranked alongside type 3 diabetes & the cause of which is a poor diet.

Anti-aging and Disease Future

It is reassuring to know how close science is to some very interesting breakthroughs in the fight against Alzheimer's. One of the most promising breakthroughs we know about is a combination of 59 all natural compounds ingested via supplementation. For instance, in one trial 99 out of 100 patients treated had a reversal of their symptoms. The one lone patient that did not respond to the compound was found to be non-compliant. He simply did not take the supplement as he should have. This compound should be available in a year or two as well as other drugs and cures being worked on my other scientists. Still, the best cure is always prevention and in the anti-aging case the prevention is simple; diet, exercise and supplementation.

Anti-Aging and Health Care

If asked what the biggest crisis is in our anti-aging quest in our inevitable death. It's not meant to be coy: but this is the conundrum that anti-aging experts are blowing out of the water in order to actually reverse the aging process. Scientists are making death preventable more and more each year. They're deeply engulfed in research that will lead us to living longer, fuller, healthier, and happier lives. They envision taking us out of nursing homes and dependent care in our later years through reversing the deterioration that comes with aging today.

Anti-Aging and Your Diet

We associate age with suffering, illness, and lots of pain. It's the goal of anti-aging experts and biochemist to reverse this chronic pain so that we maintain the same posture and attitude throughout our lives until death as when we're in our prime. You are familiar with people who retire from life early; those who check out, so to speak, before their time. Anti-aging experts believe that they can rescue the 100,000 people who die daily from age. The most fundamental and important change we can make is through our diets. Our bodies become overweight, toxic, and weak with age in large part because we aren't ingesting clean water and chemical-free foods. We often cook out minerals and over process healthy foods until they become something nobody should consume. Apples become apple juice. Tomatoes become ketchup. There are thousands of examples of foods we eat that poison our bodies and cause us to age more quickly.

Anti-Aging and Healthcare

Many societies claim to have broken or dysfunctional healthcare systems. One of the reasons for this is because we spend money unwisely and inefficiently. The biggest money-sucker in our healthcare system is end-of-life care. At the point where a body is so weak and frail that a person can't hold up his or her own head, we drain the most amount of money into keeping the person breathing. By squaring that mortality curve and increasing our years while living more healthy lives, we will combat these costs. People can live fuller lives and then die comfortably, quickly, and without the expensive machines and monitors. Nobody will argue that they look forward to dying gradually and over a long period. In the end, our vitality and long lives will take an enormous bite out of healthcare costs.

Anti-Aging and Exercise

Another reason our bodies are full of toxins and encased from the inside out with fat is because people don't exercise! It's a simple way to remain happier and healthier. Envision the man or woman who spends a lot of time in the pool during their later years or the person who actively dances until their late years. Prevent aging with exercise and you'll fortify your muscles, bones, and organs. Cultures that haven't adopted Western diets with highly processed foods and little exercise & of which there are very few left & remain immensely more healthy than those who have adopted such toxic lifestyles. The elderly in these cultures don't walk around hunched over and sickly. Diabetes, cancers, heart disease and obesity is virtually unknown to them. There are very easy steps we can take to reverse the process of aging through diet, exercise, proper anti-aging supplementation, and a positive life-extending attitude.

Anti-Aging & Your Increasing Lifespan

Biochemists and anti-aging experts are working at a breakneck speed to learn about how we can increase lifespan, reverse aging, and make anti-aging a veritable solution to those foreboding thoughts of spending our last few years in a state of slumber. We're simply adding months to our lives every year. Whereas when you were born you believed you'd live to age 50, now you'll likely live to 100. Quite simply, you want to feel like you're 50 when you're 100. That's the cornerstone of anti-aging research and preventative measures against living like you're dying.

Anti-Aging: What Age Looks Like

The goal for anti-aging experts is to make biological age elusive so that we live fuller lives. You may know that person who is only 55 years old and sits in a chair all day. They don't exercise, they eat and smoke like they're dying and they welcome it. Another person you know is aged 80 and they're the life of the party. This person looks decades younger than he or she is and still beats people half their age on the golf course. Studies in anti-aging challenge people to live like they are going to keep on living, not live like they're going to pasture.

Technology in Anti-Aging

We know more about age reversal every year in exponential ways. Picture what diseases we could cure ten years from now if technology were over 1000 times greater, or in twenty-five years: a billion times more powerful. Anti-aging experts cling to that not as a hope, but as fact. The human genome project in the 1990's was mocked by skeptics because scientists remained hopeful after 7.5 years when they had only completed 1% of their research goals. However, nobody laughed when those scientists reached their goals of studying cells and biology like a set of software systems. That's because technology and it's affordability and ease of use increases exponentially every year. In fact, our lifespans are increasing rapidly, as well!

Longevity Escape Velocity and Anti-Aging

Your age is moving away from you. That's called Longevity Escape Veolocity by anti-aging experts. Imagine that once you reach 80 years old ready to meet your day of reckoning you're actually ready to live another 40 years & fully independent and lively. Biochemists say that we're going to be adding one calendar year to our lifespans every single year beginning in fourteen years. That means that your lifespan will be running away from you!

Anti-Aging and the Skin Test

The thought of living another few decades may horrify some people. They see their grandparents or their own parents and think, I'd never want to live in THAT state for another minute! This is the opposite reaction of real anti-aging advocates. Here's an example that is simple, but will help you conceptualize how to see anti-aging as a matter of age reversal, not as in living 'too' long. Lay your hand down on a flat surface and pinch the skin below your knuckles for five seconds. If your biological age is young, it will bounce right back into shape because it's elastic. If you're in your forties it will reshape in 3-5 seconds. If you're 70, it may take a whole minute. Now let's say you're 70 but it only takes 10-15 seconds for your skin to reform itself. This is an example of your skin's elasticity, but it's also an example of how you can preserve youthfulness and be a different actual age than you are a biological age. Proper diet, supplementation, attitude, and exercise will help you actually reverse the effects of aging in your life today!

Anti-Aging and Life Extension

Anti-aging techniques, anti-aging creams, and anti-aging breakthrough breathing exercises: you're familiar with our race against time to live longer, fuller, and healthier lives. We aren't scared of tendonitis or wrinkles, though. We want to preserve our tight, taught, trim, tenacious youthfulness. There's nothing wrong with this: it shows that we value our time here. However, a lot of controversy surrounds the question of whether or not we can reverse the aging process. Biochemists do agree on this; we aren't built to live long. From the time we reproduce, we deteriorate. Our genes haven't evolved to live long, healthy lives. Perhaps this is why so many people fixate themselves on their high school years & our bodies are in their peak shape when they're actually quite young.

Anti-Aging: A Conundrum

Life causes aging, and that doesn't necessarily mean on a linear timeline. In fact, you've likely heard of free radical damage antioxidants, or even oxidative stress. Essentially we deteriorate because we breathe oxygen. Imagine a tin can or a portion of an old car that rusts out. They cause of rust is oxidation. Our bodies do this from within; they deteriorate from oxidative stress. That oxidation, however, is also what keeps us alive.

Anti-Aging: External Problems

It isn't just pulling in oxygen that ages us. We also take in toxic air, water, and food every day- unless we're incredibly careful. The radiation in our air and poisons we ingest age us. They also cause our genes to mutate into things called double strand breaks in our DNA. Essentially, our bodies are only prepared to repair one break at a time. Double strand breaks in DNA causes that process to slow down and become less efficient. In addition, mutated genes from toxins in our bodies lead to varieties of disease including cancer. Hormone imbalances are attributed to aging as well as mitochondria, the little power plants in our cells that deplete with age.

Anti-Aging Secrets Revealed

Slowing down some of the processes in our bodies' deterioration will be a key factor in the fight to stop and reverse aging. Clearly, avoiding toxins and cleaning up toxins that we've accumulated is going to be pivotal. You will find that through proper diet and moderate exercise, you can limit the toxins you take in substantially.

Anti-Aging: Restoration

Biochemists are convinced that we will learn how to reverse the process of aging. The ultimate goal will be to take our bodies and clean them up from the inside out: damage that we can see as well as damage we cannot see. This would mean that once you have lived many decades, you will be refurbished to a time when you were very young. Although it sounds mystical and sci-fi, that's the actual goal of these scientists.

The Future of Anti-Aging Techniques

The end goal of biochemists and fitness or wellness enthusiasts is to see anti-aging become a reality in our lifetime. Thankfully, scientists do believe that it's possible. Each day we must strive to eat and drink mindfully and exercise regularly. Technologies will continue to develop at a rapid pace and the longer we live, the closer we'll be to seeing anti-aging and age reversal become a reality in our lives.
